I was there for a class reunion and most of my time was spent with long time friends. The Arkansas side needs loads of work done on their streets, but other than that I enjoyed visiting with folks. The fishing and hunting is great, the people friendly, loads of water sports. I enjoyed my old favorites, fried catfish and hush puppies, at both the Fish Bowl and Johnny B's while we enjoyed several meals at Cracker Barrell which does not have restaurants in the area where I live. It is easy to get around Texarkana and you can keep busy with the variety of activities and events available.
Getting around Jonesboro is relatively easy, especially over by Arkansas State University. There is plenty of shopping for during the day. There are tons of restaurants to satisfy everyone. If you get a chance to watch a football game at Centennial Bank Stadium, you should do it. It is a beautiful setting, and the team, as well as the band, will make it worth watching.
Springdale Arkansas is a quiet town between Fayetville, and Bentonville. Clean crisp air, a naturally beautiful place to visit! Lots of friendly locals, I can’t wait to visit again.
Van Buren is located on the Arkansas River. This offers water enthusiasts an opportunity to fish and enjoy boating activities. The cities proximity to Fort Smith offers visitors an even larger range of activities for tourism. The surrounding area is host to beautiful scenic drives through the Ozark mountain range as one ventures North to the University of Arkansas and the Missouri border. The fall foliage is a beautiful sight to behold, and the spring season with the flowering trees is even better.
I have always loved Jonesboro, Arkansas. College, golf course, love antique shopping. They have many sights to see in around Jonesboro. They have so many places to eat. If you are hungry for something you can find it in Jonesboro.
I live in Houston and the traffic is a nightmare, but Little Rock is so laid back. It’s very rare to find yourself stuck in stop and go traffic. I’ve often said I need a vacation after my vacation to recoup, but not when I leave Arkansas. I think it’s the beautiful scenery. I could wake up here forever. There is so much to see and do, you never have time to be bored. The is a great mix of restaurants and entertainment venues. The River Market is a great place to hear live music. You just can’t go wrong on a trip to Luttle Rock and my most favorite place to go is The Joint in N Little Rock Argenta. They new done of the best coffee I’ve ever had, they serve great beer including IPAs but that’s not all, they also have great comedy! Little Rock/North Little Rock is a must do destination.
Went to the Arkansas Derby as we do most every year. An experience that is comparable to going to the Kentucky Derby except neither the town of Hot Springs nor Oaklawn gouges it’s patrons by raising prices. Wonderful experience!!
The rivermarket is a great place to go plenty of sights and the trolley ride is excellent for sight seeing. There's lot of history in Little rock arkansas and museums to visit that's close to the area
The major town in central Arkansas, excellent shopping, medical care and sights. Add North Little Rock into the mix - they are twin cities. Also both are easy to get around in by car.
I live here. I've been tired of this town. Only one side is growing (Texas). Arkansas is horrible. They won't even fix the roads. The officials are padding their pockets with the money. I work for the city and we can't even get a raise.
I travel a lot (I have been around 80 countries) almost six months a year. It was my first time in pretty Arkansas. This hotel is one of the best ever (on the world). Fantastic!! I liked everything. The staff was amazing, such wonderful ladies; everyone. The room is big, comfortable, clean, very well equipped, beautiful. Bed, shower, refrigerator, TV, everything was great. The breakfast was abundant and tasteful. The lobby is nice. They even have a basketball court. Location is perfect, the area is safe. I enjoyed so much; thanks!!
New hotel right off the interstate. Plenty of restaurants located around the hotel so we didn't have to go far. One thing we didn't realize when we booked was that West Memphis was in Arkansas. We chose this area so we were ready to head north on the interstate in the morning vs driving through Memphis morning rush hour which was perfect. We felt very safe staying here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed talking to the breakfast lady who was very upbeat. Highly recommend this hotel.
This was my first time at this Hotel/Arkansas. I enjoyed my stay and the humans that worked the front desk. I had several interactions with them in my two days/ one night stay and everytime I felt welcomed. Truly accommodated. I had to ask for an earlier check in time due to my early flight in and poor planning, it wasn’t at all an issue for them which I appreciated so much. This location is right across from a Walmart and I’m walking distance, if you choose to a few places which I enjoyed.
I have stayed in many different hotels in Fayetteville, visiting my daughter at U Arkansas, and this is hands down the best hotel experience I have had there. The room was spacious, comfortable bed and everything was quite clean - all for about what I paid for much less comfortable/clean rooms elsewhere. It's also conveniently located by all the big box stores to furnish/decorate/set up dorm room. (Plus there is amazing thrifting near by if you're into that sort of thing!)
The property is surrounded by beautiful trees. It’s very beautiful there and there’s so many places that you can eat that are very nearby. There’s a Walmart in Starbucks across the street everything about this hotel. I loved my cousins recommended it for me I came to visit my family from California and I can’t stop gushing about it and I’ll be back in two years and I want all my family to stay there. This is only Hotel that I will ever stay-in when I come to Little Rock Arkansas.
Good location for other trips I had to made in Arkansas. The ladies at the reception/breakfast area were all beyond nice and welcoming and super sweet. Breakfast was ok, not fancy but enough for me start daily 7hr trips from and back to the hotel. Has smoking rooms Has a fridge and microwave. Free parking in front of the rooms. Minutes away from restaurants and the national park.
Everything in the Basin park was perfect and exceeded our expectations. This was our first visit to Arkansas state and the hospitality received was amazing. The staff were so friendly helpful and accommodating. The activities at the hotel were too good. Even though parking was not onsite, the shuttle facility was so convenient and pickup/drop service are provided until late night.
We didn't eat breakfast but the location of the hotel was excellent! Close to great restaurants, service stations, grocery and convenience stores. Also close to the attractions we came to see: Concert at Simmons Bank Arena; Museum of Discovery; Arkansas Zoo and the Fairgrounds where we attended the State Fair. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again! 😀
NOTHING!! We never got a chance to stay at the property. When we arrived 3/31/23 a EF3 tornado 🌪 had hit Little Rock Arkansas and there was no power at the hotel. The property manager instructed us ( me and my daughter with grand children) to cancel our rooms. To get refunded. We had 2 rooms reserved .And we still HAVE NOT gotten REFUNDED our money
Lonoke
I've stayed in almost every hotel in Lonoke Arkansas, and Days Inn has exceeded my expectations. The beds were super comfortable (my body would hurt every morning at other hotels in the area but not at Days Inn) and customers service at check in was exceptional. Breakfast was also great and coffee too. This would be my go to Hotel everytime I go visit my dad.
I had a beautiful room, with a comfortable bed. There was a delicious breakfast, with a wide variety, to choose from. I was there to attend the Chicago concert, which was next door. There were some nice restaurants to explore, close by, too. I did some other things, in NW Arkansas and the interstate approach was near by, so this hotel was a wonderful location.
The beds, breakfast, and I really like the big pump bottles in the bathroom. That's convenient. Staff told us about the Arkansas Derby. We went and had a blast. Thank you. If I travel I will definitely stay with Hampton Inn again. I booked through booking. Com. I'll call the hotel myself to book to see about getting a senior discount. Thank you all..
The room overlooked the highway so noise was somewhat of a factor but everything else was great. The room was clean and well furnished and had plenty of room to store our bikes. Except for the weather becoming stormy, we had a great stay in Arkansas. Will stay again the next time we come down.
Hotel is in a good location with easy access to the city. Take the free tram ride around the town and hop on and off at the various attractions. Historic Arkansas museum is worth a visit, I would recommend the Museum of Fine Arts. It also has a very good restaurant.
This hotel is in an excellent location to explore NW Arkansas. It was much nicer than I expected with a large, clean and comfortable room. Beds were very comfortable and it was quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.
It was convenient to where I needed to be. I was there for a family funeral. The staff was friendly. The lobby was great for several of us cousins to get together and visit the night before the funeral since we live in Arkansas, Louisiana and Tennesse.
The beds and location. Plus restaurant Camp Taco (walking one block north of the hotel) where you can have good food! Also very close (by car) to the WJ Clinton Presidential Library and the MacArthur Military Museum and the Arkansas Museum of Fine Art.
My first (of many!) hotel stays in Arkansas/Missouri that has met expectations. In fact, exceeded expectations! Ownership/Management is professional & Staff is outstanding. The only hotel I would recommend to future guests in NWA.
THE ROOM WAS CLEAN STAFF VERY NICE AND A GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE WE WERE TRAVELING THROUGH THE STATE OF ARKANSAS STAYED AT 3 DIFFERENT HOTELS IN 3 DAYS BY FAR THIS WAS THE BEST FOR THE VALUE RENEE
Favorite quality was the closeness to the University of Arkansas- attended a game on campus and was able to walk. Hotel is very convenient to downtown Fayetteville. Comfortable room.
